As small business owners, we advocate for policies that promote responsible economic development, environmental stewardship, and investment in community. We are the backbone of Maine’s economy, and we help provide a political voice for Maine’s small business community. We believe that good economic policy works both for small business owners and the customers they serve.
On Thursday Maine small business owners shared why they support the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and called on the state’s congressional delegation, especially Senator Susan Collins, to reject efforts by President-elect Trump and congressional Republicans to repeal the law.
Over 80,000 Mainers depend on ACA for the basic health care that makes them healthy and productive members of our communities. Maine families depend on the Affordable Care Act and so do Maine small business owners. Sign our petition saying Maine small business owners want to preserve the Affordable Care Act.
Starting next week, Maine voters will see television advertisements featuring several of the more than 600 Maine small business owners that support the campaign to raise the state’s minimum wage.
